Meet The Team
Bike Shop Team
Martyn Joined R&R when the building was just a shell to create and manage this new and exciting venture. He's worked in the Bicycle Industry for over 20 years and is a life long bike nut ever since he did his first MTB XC race back in 1991! He's raced Downhill MTB across Europe and for many seasons worked on the Santa Cruz Syndicate and Madison Saracen Race Teams wrenching for World Cup racers Josh Bryceland, Steve Peat and Sam Dale. Racing has taken a bit of a back seat so your more likely find him riding the local trails along with his trusty trail Dog 'Noosa'!
Jon has been riding and working on bikes for nearly 30 years and is a household name within the local cycle network. A long career of riding and racing both Mountain and Road bikes has left him with a wealth of knowledge and his honed mechanical skills mean he is the go to man in our fully equipped workshop. Did you know Jon worked as a Race Mechanic on the Animal Orange Race Team for Greg Minnaar and the Athertons before they made the big time and has raced both the BC Bike Race and the Trans Rockies events , both in very respectable times!
Adam joined the team in 2017 and if he's not riding street on his 20" BMX, shredding the local trails on his big rig, you'll probably find him out in the woods on another one of his micro adventures aboard his gravel bike kitchen sink in tow! He's our social media Wizard, in house photo guy and most importantly has gained the rank as 'Young Jedi' as he hones his mechanical skills from the best.
Dan is the man who can serve you that well deserved coffee with his eyes closed! Joining us after time spent working as a chef and brings barista skills with him that after hours of practice he makes it look easy and now he ensures the cafe is always the best in town. He isn't all coffee, Fixes float his boat, deep enough to find him heading across Europe to compete against the best.
Noosa-dog is part of the furniture, she's been hanging out in bike shops since 2011 and she's a firm favourite with the kids. She loves running the trails in Wareham Forest and walking the shop floor but be careful she'll have your cake in a blink of an eye!
