E-bikes open up a whole new world of cycling, enabling you to ride further and embrace whatever the weather throws at you. It’s a myth that e-bikes are for lazy people or that you don't even have to break a sweat to ride one! Yes they have a motor but they are what we call 'pedal assist' there’s no free ride as if you were riding a motorcycle. An e-bike has many benefits, you can cover more distance in less time, add or reduce the amount of assistance depending on how you feel, dress for all weather conditions without suffering, ride with friends that maybe are fitter than you, make returning to cycling enjoyable rather than fearful and much more, in fact it even makes going uphill fun too!
We are lucky enough to range some of the best E-bike brands in our store and this upcoming Demo in a few weeks allows you to try them out on the trails of Puddletown Forest and find out for yourself what all the hype is about. We will have 5 guided rides throughout the day taking you up and down the trial network giving you plenty of opportunity to get the full e-bike experience. Whyte Bikes will be there with a selection of their e-bike range along with bikes from Scott and Santa Cruz, in various sizes and all available to ride on a pre-book system.

Below is an idea of the bikes we will have in various sizes* There’s a small £20 fee which will enable you to ride as many bike you pre book on the day.
There will be 5 guided rides going out which will last around an hour, 12.30, 2, 3.30, 5 and 6.30, the later rides will make use of bike lights supplied by Exposure lights.
