Alchemy Arktos

Alchemy Arktos

WOW take a look at our first Custom Alchemy Arktos to roll out of the workshop! When we say custom this bike is not only built to the customers spec but the frame is handmade in the USA and painted to the colours specified by him to boot!

The overall build took around 9 weeks from initial conversations, with the frame been hand made and then time spent on the custom colour insuring the end result was exactly what he envisaged. He wanted a subtle but not to subtle paint scheme and the idea of matching the 'Kashima' gold of the shock/forks with matt and gloss black panels fitted the bill, we think it looks mint. The finishing kit is nothing less than magical! ENVE supplied the cockpit with their Riser bars and their much lusted after MTN stem in a 55mm reach giving a tight snappy front end feel. The new owner is luckily off to ride some big mountain in Canada next year so he wanted wheels to deal with whatever he may throw at them. ENVE M70 HV rims give him enough strength and the ability to run a larger volume tyre giving him all the traction he needs. Of course the standard white rim decals weren’t going to cut it so we pulled a favour and our good friend Joe @Whitakersigns up-north and sticker god created these trick rim graphics to match. Laced into Chris King ISO hubs of course, instant engagement and the legendry Chris King Buzzzzzz as you freewheel along! Gold was the theme and it so happens Sram’s Eagle XO1 Groupset has gold all over it, bling but super efficient giving a huge range of gears whilst utilising a 1x12 setup.

We think it looks amazing and the time spent working with the customer over many weeks enabled us to produce a bike that is, well………MINT!

If you have a new dream build in mind, then drop us a line or pop in for a chat over a coffee and lets see if we can do for you!
